Who are we?

We have been developing software for the industry for over 25 years. Our solutions are not created on the drawing board, but from the real-world requirements of our customers. Since 2006, PrüfExpress has been helping companies in Germany organize and monitor work equipment efficiently, clearly, and in compliance with the law.

PrüfExpress is a product of Graubner Industrie-Beratung GmbH, which has been supporting companies in the areas of occupational safety, maintenance, environmental management, and software solutions since 1995.

Behind PrüfExpress is an international team of experienced professionals. Our core team is based in Germany, supplemented by a highly qualified development team in India. This international collaboration enables us to use modern technologies efficiently and to continuously develop PrüfExpress – reliably, scalably, and future-proof.

The path to the development of PrüfExpress began with the identification of a major need: the safe, efficient, and legally compliant inspection of work equipment in an industrial environment. This requirement was defined by the Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV), which mandates the regular inspection of all work equipment.

2004 – Process analysis and digitalization

Development began with a comprehensive process analysis. Over 10,000 index cards were scanned and photos of all work equipment were recorded in a central database – the first step toward a seamless digital data flow.

2005–2006 – RFID and mobile inspections

In 2005, the decision was made to equip all work equipment with transponders. In 2006, the use of mobile inspections with Pocket PCs (PDAs) began, which enabled direct transmission to the SAP system.

2008 – European Auto ID Award

PrüfExpress was awarded the European Auto ID Award for the innovative use of RFID technology in maintenance.

2016–2017 – Cooperation with Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences

In cooperation with Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, the second version of PrüfExpress was created – now compatible with iPhones, Android devices, and with direct data synchronization via the internet.

From 2018 – Cloud and continuous innovation

Since 2018, PrüfExpress has been continuously developed: Cloud-based SaaS application, master data management, inspection management, fault reporting management, and public websites per work equipment – PrüfExpress is now a comprehensive solution.

2024 – Technology Olympics

A special highlight was the second place at the Technology Olympics of a leading automotive manufacturer – an award for exceptional innovation and practical utility in the industry.
